Leadership Development
A key part of any healthy church is the development of new and existing leaders. At Second Mile, we are committed to equipping men and women to lead, shepherd, and multiply ministry throughout every part of our church.

Leadership Development currently happens through three primary environments:
Community Group & Ministry Team Leaders/Apprentices - The best way to develop as a leader is to lead. So every group and team is committed to developing apprentice leaders, and every month a leadership meeting is held for leaders to pray and be sharpened.
Bible Boot Camp - A 4-month experience that prepares individuals to understand the Bible and use it in ministry.
The Surge School of Transformational Leadership - Second Mile is a founding member of Surge, a ministry that is committed to developing transformational leaders across the Phoenix metro area, in partnership with other area churches. Surge is 1-year experience.
