Shooting Straight
Can somebody please just tell it like it is?
It seems that everywhere we turn, we can't get a straight answer. There's always a "spin" to every story. Political, religious, business and cultural leaders just seem interested in protecting their own reputations and interests. As a result, we've grown skeptical and frustrated. In a time of confusion and haze, we're dying to just have somebody shoot straight with us.
There is somebody who will tell us the truth: Jesus.
Jesus Christ remains one of the most respected figures of human history, in part because he was a Straight Shooter. He was honest, raw, and real. He saw past pretense and posturing. His teaching was direct and profound. Join us beginning Easter Sunday, April 4th, as we explore what Jesus said was truly important.
