Our Distinctives
We trust the sufficiency of Scripture, believing that the Bible contains everything we need God to tell us for salvation and for trusting and obeying him through daily life. We preach and teach the Scripture with confidence that it is able to powerfully speak to the lives of both Christians and non-Christians.
We celebrate the sovereignty of God over all things, believing that God is in absolute control of everything that happens. God is the Sovereign King of the universe and exercises his rule with gracious love and passion for his glory. In particular, we celebrate the sovereignty of God over salvation, recognizing that God saves his people by grace alone, so that no one should boast.
We are Gospel-Centered, believing that the gospel is the power of God for those who believe. We aim to preach and teach the gospel in every sermon and every lesson and view it as the power to both bring people into saving relationship with God and renew their faith on a daily basis. We are Missional, believing that we must be faithful to the content of unchanging Biblical doctrine while recognizing that we must be faithful to the continually changing context of the culture(s) in which we minister. We aim to train our people to go out into the culture as effective missionaries who can live and proclaim the gospel of Jesus. Click here for more on Mission.
