Lead Pastor - Luke Simmons
Luke Simmons and his wife, Molly, moved to Arizona in the summer of 2002 to be involved with the ministry of East Valley Bible Church and be equipped for pastoral ministry and church planting work. Luke joined the pastoral staff of EVBC in 2004, where he ministered until the summer of 2008 when he began building the team to plant Second Mile Church. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois and is currently pursuing a master's degree from Reformed Theological Seminary. Luke and Molly have two young daughters.

Associate Pastor - Matthew Braselton
Matthew's primary passions in life are knowing Jesus and making Him known, and loving and shepherding his family. Matthew first began serving the church as a worship leader in 1999 and has been involved in ministry ever since. He joined the pastoral staff of East Valley Bible Church in 2004 and thoroughly enjoyed serving the people there through the various ministries he was involved in. In 2009 he took the opportunity to join Luke and the ministry of Second Mile Church as Associate Pastor. Matthew is an ASU graduate, is currently completing his MBA through ASU, and an avid mountain biker. He and his wife, Kristie, have 3 children.

Initial Oversight Team
Until additional qualified men are identified, trained, tested and installed as elders, Luke has assembled an Initial Oversight Team providing accountability over directional goals and financial systems.
